We Support Programs
in the Community
We welcome all types of small and large commercial farms: crops, organic and non-organic, and livestock of all types. We also have members that produce honey and maple syrup and some of our members raise Christmas trees and manage woodlots. Our definition of a commercial farm is one with earnings over $1,000 per year.
Our group is not just for farmers. Some of our members are from
the local business community including:
Small Business Owners and Councilors
Land Trust Representatives
Farmers' Market Managers
YCFN is a volunteer organization and we request a suggested donation of $20 annually from each farm or business member.
