York County Farmers' Network
 Objectives
We Support Programs
 in the Community
We welcome all types of small and large commercial farms: crops, organic and non-organic, and livestock of all types. We also have members that produce honey and maple syrup and some of our members raise Christmas trees and manage woodlots. Our definition of a commercial farm is one with earnings over $1,000 per year.

Our group is not just for farmers. Some of our members are from
the local business community including:

Small Business Owners and Councilors
Land Trust Representatives
Farmers' Market Managers

YCFN is a volunteer organization and we request a suggested donation of $20 annually from each farm or business member.
Our group would not be possible without the ongoing support of
the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, York County Office and Farm Family Insurance along with these organizations:

Maine Small Business Development Center
Three Rivers Land Trust
York County Soil and Water Conservation District
York County Community Action
